- Description
- The base item of this project includes the reconstruction of recreation sites and road improvements along the Illinois River. Work includes site surveys based on established Government survey control points; road and parking construction/reconstruction; obliteration of existing roads and parking; installation of gates and boulders for traffic control; installing Government Furnished trail bridge, erosion control and related construction work. Option items include road work and recreation site improvements. The project sites are located along the Illinois River and Forest Roads No. FR 4201 and FR 4103 in Josephine County, Oregon on the Wild Rivers Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. Project is expected to begin on or about October 15, 2007 with a performance period of 365 calendar days. Price Range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 16, 2007. A bid bond of 20 percent is required. A payment bond (100 percent) and a performance bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base prior to award.
