- Project Title--Little Pend Oreille ORV Trail #142 Restoration for the Three Rivers Ranger District located on the Colville National Forest. This acquisition is open to both large and small business concerns. NAICS code is 237990, size standard is $31.0 million. This project consists of trail restoration and relocation. There are two bid items as follows: Bid Item 1 includes trail restoration and relocation of 4.15 miles. The purpose of this item is to relocate 2,435 linear feet, restoration of 19,436 linear feet, with tread width of 24 inches. Construct 20 linear feet of turnpike with log retainer and no geo--synthetic fabric, 35 linear feet of side ditch and 44 linear feet of puncheon 4 feet wide; and, Bid Item 2 includes trail restoration and relocation of 8.88 miles. The purpose of this item is to relocate 40 linear feet, restoration of 46,857 linear feet of trail with a width of 24 inches. Replace 5 linear feet of puncheon with a width of 4 feet. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about July 6, 2007. Proposals will be due on or about August 6, 2007. The construction magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. This acquisition will result in a firm fixed price contract. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposal. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date. Interested sources are required to download a copy of the solicitation, attachments, and amendments. No paper copies of the solicitation, amendments, or other notices will be mailed.
