Description
The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has a requirement, to be negotiated under competitive 8(a) procedures, in accordance with FAR 19.804. The period of performance for the proposed RFP is for a one base year period with four option years. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Performance and Technology (PROTECH) has a requirement for services to develop new applications, re-engineer existing applications, and provide related services to support their mission. The DOL ETA PROTECH envisions the Government Contractor partnership as an open, collaborative, and customer-oriented professional relationship in which the contractor and DOL will work together to: Consistently take steps to understand DOL crucial business issues and opportunities. Strive to enhance performance and improve quality. Ensure products and services deliver tangible and meaningful business benefits. Work collaboratively with the DOL, other contractors, and other Government agencies to meet the objectives of the software development and related services ETA is constantly reviewing, replacing, and upgrading its applications. New applications software will be added during the life of the contract and contractor support will be required. The vendor shall be able to adapt to an ever changing environment The Division requires on-site contractor support for the maintenance, enhancement, operation, and development of new and existing systems and subsystems supported by the OT. This is a synopsis of a Request for proposal that will be posted to Fed Biz Ops on or about May 25, 2007. There will be NO questions or phone calls accepted regarding the synopsis announcement.
