- ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities July 2, 2007. This project consists of trees to be directionally pulled over toward the Middle Fork Willamette River. Rigging blocks on the opposite side of the river from the tree locations may be necessary. River width is approximately 70-90 feet wide and 1.5-3 feet deep. To assure the root mass remains attached to the tree bole and breakage is avoided, loosening the root mass may be necessary, such as saturating the surrounding soil. Tree locations range from adjacent to the channel to 50 horizontal feet from the river. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to perform all work required. This project is located on the Willamette National Forest, Middle Fork Ranger District, Lane County, Oregon. Contract performance time is 30 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 1, 2007. All work will be performed in the project area between September 1 and September 30.
