Description
This information is for solicitation (SPM1C1-07-Q-0423). This is for the purchase of STRIPE, TROUSERS, DRESS SCARLET, MARINE CORPS SHADE 2501. The applicable NIIN for this procurement is 8455-00-269-0488. The military specification is MIL-S-82155B dated 28 March 1991. The purchase quantity is 87,600 each. The first delivery is due 120 days after the date of award. The destination for this item is to a depot in Austin, TX. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside That will result in a firm fixed price contract. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item will be furnished by the Government (GFM). The NIIN for this cloth is 8305-01-209-6542 (Cloth, Broadcloth, Wool Scarlet, Marine Corps Shade 2501. The Storage facility for the cloth is in a depot in Albany, GA. The Government does not intend to use FAR part 12 for this acquisition. Reference Numbered Notes 1, 9, and 26. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specially metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-70 14), including the materials and components Thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United states, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.700-2 exceptions applies.
