- Description
- The Government intends to award a sole source acquisition to NDT Solutions, Inc. (NDTS) for the MAUS-V Inspection Equipment in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. NDTS is the only authorized distributor of the MAUS-V machines used by the 9th Maintenance Squadron. The acquisition of this non-destructive MAUS-V Equipment is necessary for the 9th Maintenance Squadron to satisfy 100% mission accomplishment while ensuring compliance with Technical Order Manual RQ4-A-05-36-50-01A-355A-A. Inspection applications include metals, monolithic composites, hybrid composite-metals, and bonded structures... The non-destructive method of inspection gives inspector the ability to generate real time ultrasonic and eddy current images of large surface areas. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3829. The small business size standard is 500 employees.
