- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-07-RP-0059 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to procure Dopamine Agonists - Non Ergoline. Item 1: Pramipexole Dihydrochloride estimated annual usage: (1a.) 0.125MG: 2,297,097 tablets; (1b.) 0.25MG: 3,757,698 tablets; (1c.) 0.5MG: 2,969,390 tablets; (1d.) 1.5 MG: 1,635,092 tablets; and (1e.) 1MG: 3,521,511 tablets. Item 2: Ropinirole HCL estimated annual usage: (2a.) 0.25MG: 700,455 tablets; (2b.) 0.5MG: 641,235 tablets; (2c.) 1MG: 1,482,390 tablets; (2d.) 2MG: 1,344,315 tablets; (2e.) 3MG: 395,535 tablets; (2f.) 4MG: 192,990 tablets; and (2g.) 5MG: 275,310 tablets. In order to be considered for award the offeror must submit pricing for all the sizes for Pramipexole Dihydrochloride or Ropinirole HCL. Award will be made on an aggregate of each drug. VA reserves the right to add additional package sizes to the contract at a later date when they become available or if offered in a vendor's proposal. This will not affect the quantities listed in the usage requirements. The estimated quantities listed above are for VA only. Unit dose and starter kits will not be evaluated. The contract period will be for one year plus four one-year option periods. The contract items will be distributed through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor. If the offeror is not the manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer and remain in effect for the duration of the contract period including the option years. OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. COMMENTS REGARDING THIS NOTICE MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN APRIL 20, 2007. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412.
