- Description
- Vessels Division of the Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific (MLCPv) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for the maintenance of POLAR CLASS CPP Hub Maintenance. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity supply contract is anticipated for eventual award. Work will be accomplished at a contractor's facility during the base contract year of 30 April 2007 through 29 April 2008. Work during subsequent contract option years will be perfromed at the contractor's facility at the Government's discretion. Work will include, but not be limited to the following: Hub Assembly Overhaul, Hub Component Renewal, Fabrication and Machining, and Hub Transportation. On or about 15 January 2007, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This procurement will be a Total Set Aside for Small Businesses whose plant for accomplishing the work is within 200 road miles of NESU Seattle (1519 Alaskan Way S. Seattle, WA 98134). Offerors will be required to submit the following: (a) 4 copies of a technical proposal and (b) 2 copies of a price proposal. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fedbizopps.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds/gov. Offerors are encouraged to register with FedTeds well in advance of the solicitation issue date. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (10-NOV-2006).
