- Description
- The Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Pacific (DoDDS-Pacific) intends to procure, on a Full and Open Competition basis, a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, for musical instruments and miscellaneous musical items for schools located in Korea and Japan. Musical instruments and musical items will be ordered through the use of a web-based catalog. The period of performance will be a 12-month base period with two 12-month option periods. The Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HE1260-07-R-7005 will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 6 July 2007 to close 30 days after release of the solicitation. The anticipated award date will be on or about 30 August 2007. Award will be made under the test program for commercial items established in FAR 13.5, utilizing technically acceptable, low price evaluation procedures. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
