- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Lockheed Martin Simulation, Training and Support (LMSTS), Orlando, FL to add to the maintenance services currently provided by LMSTS for government owned Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) testers/stations. The Government intends to add these requirements by modifying the CASS Consolidated Service Program (CSP) Basic Agreement, N68335-00-H-0103. LMSTS will add maintenance coverage for the VXI Card Cage P/N 2055AS643-02, the SCSI P/N 2055AS852-01, Cable Assembly P/N 2052AS950-02, Cable Assembly P/N 2056AS948-01, Cable Assembly P/N 2056AS958-01, Cable Assembly P/N 2056AS959-01, Cable Assembly P/N 2056AS960-01, and Cable Assembly P/N 2055AS853-01. The period of performance for each task will not exceed the Basic Agreement time frame. The government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. As the original equipment manufacturer LMSTS is the only contractor with the necessary technical, engineering, and logistics expertise to perform these tasks. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Navy anticipates the awards to be firm fixed price contracts. No solicitations will be available for this procurement.
