- Contractor furnished, maintained and operated high wing, multi engine turbine powered aircraft (DHC-6, Twin Otter, or equal) in support of NOAA, Alaska Fisheries Science Center to conduct marine mammal survey (Right Whale) in Bristol Bay and SE Bearing Sea. Aircraft will operate out of Dillingham and Cold Bay, Alaska. Aircraft must have bubble windows and auxilliary fuel capability for 6 hour, plus 45 min reserve endurance. This is a one season project that will commence approximately August 1, 2007 thru August 28, 2007. It is estimated the project will use 140 flight hours. Project requires two PIC crew with mechanic to accompany the aircraft. Contractor must be certificated under 14 CFR Part 135 Air Taxi Operators and Commercial Operators. This is a 100% set aside for small businesses.
