Description
Construction of a new 800 member U.S. Army Reserve Center containing three buildings; Training/Administrative building with a Unit Storage area, a combined Organizational Maintenance shop/Area Maintenance Support (AMSA) and a Unheated Storage Buildin g at a rural site west of Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE for assigned U.S. Army Reserve units training as collective entities, as mandated by current U.S. Army Reserve Command standards. This project will combine units from the area into a new state o f the art facility. The site is located on the western side of Highway 31in Douglas County. The project will provide a 80,500 square feet combined Training Building with a Unit Storage area, 21,625 square feet Organizational Maintenance Shop/Area Maintena nce Support (AMSA) and a 4,260 square foot Unheated Storage Building. A 1,444 square feet Pump House Building will be required to house multiple fire pumps. The new facilities will be constructed on approximately 25 acre tract of land located along the we stern side of Highway 31, south of Rainwood Road in Douglas County, Nebraska. Currently, the Army Reserve units are utilizing two substandard buildings. One was constructed in 1890 and the other in 1949. These two existing facilities have a combined squar e footage of 144,082 square feet located in Omaha, Nebraska. The new facility will provide modern, energy efficient integrated training facilities for various assigned U.S. Army Reserve units. Project will also include sitework, paving, fencing, as well as utilities a nd force protection measures. The estimated cost range is $10-25 Million. The NAICS code is 236220 and size standard is $31M. Contractors must be registered on the Federal Technical Data Solutions website to download documents. The address is http://ww w.fedteds.gov. This is a full and open procurement; however, in accordance with FAR 19.1307(b), this project requires the HubZone 10% price evaluatuion preference.
