- Description
- The bulkhead crane at Greenup Locks and Dam, Greenup, Kentucky, experienced a failure in the hoist machinery drive and has been mostly disassembled. The contract will consist of furnishing materials and labor for the repair, refurbishment, disassemb ly, reassembly, testing, cleaning and painting; of the bulkhead crane and accessories. Some parts from the existing crane shall be reused whereas other parts shall be fabricated. The bulkhead crane and associated lifting beam in their disassembled state s hall be cleaned and painted prior to reassembly. The estimated cost range for this project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. This solicitation is HUBZONE SET-ASIDE. Contract type will be Firm Fixed Priced Construction, with partial payments subject to Availability of Funds FAR Clause 52.232-18. A SIC code of 1611, FSC Z038, and NAICS 237310 has been established for this solicitation.
