- Reference Numbered Note 23 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-07-T-0427 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). All responsible sources may sumbit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Contract Line Item (CL IN) 0001 will be issued for relocation of five (5) Remstar Vertical Carousels, to include disassembly and assembly of units and removing and replacing data from units after units are rebuilt in the new location. The five (5) vertical carousels consist of three (3) model types: SYS-115-1611-11, SYS-115-1313-10, and SYS-120-1240-11. The place and performance and FOB point is U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL, 35898. The required period of pe rformance is from date of award through 31 December 2007. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Re gulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicita tion to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability of the service offere d to meet the Government requirement and price. Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial items, OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY WITH THE OFFEROR; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implementt Statues or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. The additional FAR clauses cited at paragraph (c) in the clause and applicable to this acquisition a re: clause (1). FAR clause 52.232-33, 52.245-2, 52.245-11, 52.246-4, 52.247-34, and 52.249-4 and DFAR clause 252.232-7003 are included in this solicitation and subsequent award.
