- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to SPECTRA LOGIC CORPORATION, 170 N 55th St. Boulder, CO, for 24 hour onsite hardware and software maintenance support for T950, 4LT02, 2QIP, 4RXT, 450 Slot, s/n PTH0506001 and s/n PTH0512001. Spectra Logic is the sole source provider for all re-certifications preformed on tape libraries manufactured by Spectra Logic, and that all service contracts are handled directly through Spectra Logic. Period of Performance for this requirement will be 12 months from date of award. This noncompetitive action will be processed in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements). The Contracting Center of Excellence plans to issue this requirement as a purchase order. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via e-mail to: phoung.newhart@hqda.army.mil by NLT 10:00 a.m. on Ju ne 25, 2007. Telephone inquires will not be accepted. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
