Description: In Building 1 MRI AU at the Jamaica Plain campus, contractor will provide a new ASI/8040 programmable controller, electrical labor and materials to wire the control points in EMT. Contractor will provide two duct supply air temperature sensors, 1 space temperature sensor (assuming that existing conduits can be reused), current switches for pump status, pilot duty control relays for fan, compressor and pump start / stop, pneumatic transducers, application engineering, application software per the above points list, project supervision, appropriate software modifications to the VA's Building Automation System front-end (ViewPort), system commissioning and one year warranty. Existing pneumatic safeties such as freeze stats, smoke detectors, etc. are to remain as is. Contractor will provide electrical labor and materials to wire the above control points in EMT. Contractor will provide one strap-on water sensor, one 2 way valve, 1 current switch for pump status and pilot duty control relay for pump start / stop. Contractor will provide proprietary application engineering and application of proprietary software per the above points list and appropriate proprietary software modifications to the VA's Building Automation System front-end (ViewPort). In Building 1A 1 at the Jamaica Plain campus, contractor will provide and install 6 supply air humidity sensors, provide and install 11 space humidity sensors. Contractor to provide proprietary software application to incorporate the new duct humidity sensors into the control sequences to function as high limit humidity controllers, software modifications to the view port front-end as required, on-site installation of graphics and application of proprietary software on-site testing and control calibration of the humidifiers. Government intends to negotiate a sole source contract with American Energy Management Corporation.
