- The Hefner VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC is seeking the services of a qualified firm to perform an inspection and assessment for asbestos containing materials in all buildings designated to have asbestos containing materials. To be considered qualified, the inspection, assessment, sampling and preparation of the management plan will be conducted by person(s) certified as EPA accredited training for AHERA Building Inspector, AHERA Management Planner, AHERA Designer conduct and provide an accreditation number from the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public health, Occupational and Environment Epidemiology Brach, Health Hazards Control Unit, Raleigh, NC. An applicable NAICS code can not be determined. This is not a request for proposals, but is only seeking information to determine what contractors are available with experience in conducting this assessment to meet EPA-AHERA standards. Firms shall submit a list of contracts under which they performed this type procurement, including dollar amounts of the contracts.
