- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of Bag in Box Beverage for the Federal Correctional Institution Greenville, Illinois. Bag in Box beverages will consist of various carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks. Contractor responsibilities will include providing eight dispensing units along with syrup pumps, CO2 adapters and other equipment required. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The award will be made to the responsible company or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base year and four 12 month option years. The estimated quantities for the base year is approximately 10,400 gallons of carbonated soft drink and 5,100 gallons of non-carbonated. The solicitation will be available on or about June 28, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this solicitation, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about July 19, 2007. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. This solicitation will be unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 424490. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote. All responsible businesses must submit a quote to be considered.
