- It is the Government's intention to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Waters Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757 for renewal of annual service plan on existing Waters Autospecs. Waters Corporation shall provide a Service Plan for the following: (1) Product Number 176600023, MS TAP INSTRUMENT AND S/W PLAN, 740001231 TAP AUTOSPEC 'M' (MLYNX REQD.) (1 PM), MODEL CODE AUTOSPEC, SERIAL NUMBER M492, 740002548, MassLynx Software 1 Year Plan, MODEL CODE SUPMM, SERIAL NUMBER MS6BN01729; and (2) Product Number 176600023, MS TAP INSTRUMENT AND S/W PLAN, 740001231 TAP AUTOSPEC 'M' (MLYNX REQD.) (1PM), MODEL CODE AUTOSPEC, SERIAL NUMBER M356, 740002548 MassLynx Software 1 Year Plan, MODEL CODE SUPMM, SERIAL NUMBER MS6BN01728. The equipment contains proprietary components that must be serviced by the manufacturer. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the only known organization with the proprietary rights to maintain this equipment is Waters Corporation. NO REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Any responsible sources that believe they are capable of providing the required services as stated herein may submit a capability statement to document its ability to provide the required services, which will be considered if received within ten (10) days from posting date of this notice. A determination to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses or questions regarding this posting must be in writing and can be sent via email to regina.williams@fda.hhs.gov. An award will be made immediately after the response date of this notice. This award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures.
