- Description
- The solicitation for the project will be posted to FedBizOps on or about July 9, 2007 with bids due on August 9, 2007. The work entails remodeling activities on two buildings in a remote location including but not limited to the following items: roofing; painting; carpentry work; liquid petroleum gas system replacement; appliance removal and replacement; and electrical work. The project site is remotely located at the Heavens Gate Lookout in the Seven Devils Mountains of the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area in Idaho. To access the site from Riggins, Idaho, take County Road 517 up the Papoose Creek drainage, which changes to Forest Service Road 517 to its end. The site access is by ?foot? from the Heavens Gate Trailhead parking area. The lookout building is approximately one quarter mile from the parking area via a foot-path.
