- Description: See numbered note: 12. 2540-00-678-3469, Chock, Wheel, Wood, being procured in accordance with commercial item description A-A-53475 titled Chock, wheel, under FAR Part 13.5 for commercial items. This will be solicited as a commercial IDPO and the yearly estimated quantity is 36,172 to be delivered to various stock locations. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE HUB-ZONE SET-ASIDE. THE SOLE SOURCE IS (5Y245) INTERNATIONAL CONTAINER SYSTEMS LLC. It is anticipated that the IDPO will be a base year and four option years at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation number is SPM7L2-07-X-9007 and will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfq after the issue date 06/29/07. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is contained in the solicitation. A written quotation is required and is to be returned to the buyer at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43218-3990, ATTN: Mindy R Messerly, PLCLBCE, or can be faxd to 614-693-1577/email (mindy.messerly@dla.mil). In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
