Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Acquisition Center will issue joint VA/DoD Solicitation Number M6-Q8-06 for Medical Imaging Equipment. The imaging equipment solicited includes FSC Class 6525 - COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (CT) SCANNERS, MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) SYSTEMS, X-RAY SYSTEMS, NUCLEAR MEDICINE, ULTRASOUND, COMPUTED RADIOLOGY (CR), MAGNETOENCEPHALAGRAPHY, PET SCANNER, CYCLOTRON, RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEMS, AND X-RAY FILM LASER IMAGERS. CT, MRI, X-RAY, NUCLEAR MEDICINE, ULTRASOUND, COMPUTED RADIOLOGY, MAGNETOENCEPHALOGRAPHY, PET SCANNERS, CYCLOTRON, RADIOGRAPHY SYSTEMS, UPGRADES AND ACCESSORIES, INCLUDING INSTALLATION. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued and available for download on April 14, 2006. The projected response date for vendors will be 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on 05/18/06. Offers where the anticipated sales are in excess of $5 million per year will be forwarded to the Office of Inspector General by 06/02/06. All awarded contracts are anticipated to be in place not later than 1/31/07. However, the performance period effective date will commence in February 2007. This announcement supersedes the original posting dated 3/15/06. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (06-APR-2006).
