Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice for the inspection, repair and maintenance of the fire suppression systems at Grand Forks AFB, ND. There are 12 buildings with 29 wet chemical systems requiring inspection, testing, certification, servicing, preventitive maintenance and repair. The requirement for a 4-hour emergency response time is included in the statement of work (SOW). The contractor shall have at least three (3) years experience inspecting and maintaining chemical fire suppression systems. The period of performance is 1 Oct 07 through 30 Sep 08 with four (4) option periods spannings subsequent years (ending 30 Sep 2012). The request for proposal (RFP) will be issued on an unrestricted basis and is scheduled to be posted to FedBizOps on/or about 25 April 07 with an anticipated response date of 30 May 07. All contractors must be registered in the central contractor registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. The evaluation factors for award will be based on responsive proposals with price and past performance being equal. NAICS code is 561621 and business size standard for this procurement is $11.5.
