- This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and the solicitation is attached to this synopsis. The Government intends to acquire commercial subscription services using FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating awarding the following items in the following quantities: ITEM 0001: 6 Month subscription service to a commercial database for component manufacturing, ITEMS 0002-0005: Optional one (1) year subscription services to a commercial database for component manufacturing. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 511210 and has a size standard of $23,000,000. This proc urement will be un-restricted allowing for full and open competition. Refer to solicitation for applicable clauses. Offers shall complete all required documents for the above clauses in addition to complying with the proposal requirements stated in the solicitation. If an offeror is a large business, they must submit their commercial sub-contracting plan with their proposal. Offerors are also advised that these representations and certifications must be completed electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Quotes/Offers are due no later than 29 June 2007 at 1100 hours Pacific Time and may be faxed to (360) 396-7358 or e-mailed to hansenk@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. Contractors interested in submitting quotes must (1) complete the pricing providing unit prices and extended pricing, (2) complete all Representations and Certifications, DUNs Number information, and Buy American Act information found in the above clauses and (3) Provide their commercial product literature and past performance references as indicated in the solicitation. Contractors shall ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database http://www.ccr.gov. Any questions should be submitted in writing via fax (360) 396-7358 or e-mailed to hansenk@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil NO LATER than 3 days prior to solicitation closing. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office. No paper copies of this RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments prior to t he date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection.
