- Description
- The 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott AFB, IL, is contemplating an award for Packing and Crating Services for Department of Defense personnel relocating to and from Scott AFB, IL. This solicitation may result in a multiple award. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services. Work to be performed will be those services in the Schedules awarded to the contractor as outlined in individual Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs). The requirements of this PWS apply to DPM shipments only. Commercial standards of services and best business practices apply. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed-priced base year period of 1 January 2008 through 31 December 2008 with 4 option years, which may extend the contract until 31 December 2012. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488991. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $23.5 million. A formal request for quote will be issued on or about 1 Aug 2007 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
