- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the reference number is FA3047-07-TC-372. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12 and DFARS change notice 20060814. The Offeror must be an authorized dealer and must quote on an all or none basis. Written quotes are required (oral offers will not be accepted). Submission of quotes must be in accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the best value for the Government and conforming to the solicitation the most advantageous to the Government. Please include CAGE Code, DUNS, Tax Identification Number, FOB Point, and Discount Terms. Availability and how long it will take to ship and install at Lackland AFB, TX. Quotes must be valid through 30 Aug 07. This is a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS Code is 423710 and the size standard is 500 employees. The Items are as follows: ITEM 0001: QTY: 240 Each, Description: Provide Campus Lock SFS less core, item #CL5596 26D; I TEM 0002: 1 LOT: Installation of 240 Locks in Bldg 10261/10265, ITEM 0003: QTY: 1000 Each, Description: Mag Stripe Cards, Item # Cards. Items are to be installed in Bldg 10261/10265 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas The required items are to be purchased as brand name ?Campus Lock?. No equal product will be accepted. Currently other locks in the dormitories are ?Campus Locks?. The equipment being purchased will interface with the current system of locks. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, Offerors must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, no exceptions.
