- Description
- Contractor to provide all labor, materials, supervision, transportation and supervision to renovate approximately 7,000 SF of existing shell space in the basement of Building 42 to allow for the relocation of Audiology Service. Work includes general construction, carpentry, drywall, electrical, mechanical, sprinklers and other associated work in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. This procurement is 100% set-aside for service disabled veteran owned small businesses. Firms meeting this criterion must be registered in Central Contractor Registry and the Center for Veterans Enterprise (VetBiz) websites. The NAICS code is 236220. The estimated dollar value is between $250,000 and $500,000.00. Firms must request drawings in writing and on their letterhead. If firms requesting the drawings desire to have the drawings sent via Fed-Ex, they must provide their account number along with their written request. Otherwise the drawings will be sent via regular mail. No other fast delivery service is available. Telephone requests will not be honored. Email requests may be sent to jolette.morrison@va.gov. Twenty (20) sets of drawings will be available and will be issued on a first come, first-served basis until the supply is exhausted. The specifications will up uploaded on/about June 27, 2007. No paper solicitations will be issued. The requestor is also responsible for checking the website regularly for any amendments that have been posted. The bid opening will be held on/about July 31, 2007. Government-wide numbered note 29 applies to this procurement.
