- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized/forfeited vehicles in the Eastern District of Arkansas. The vehicles will include production-seized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with a contract term consisting of one year total. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that Solicitation Number DJMS-08-Q-0001 will be issued on or before July 6, 2007. The estimated response date will be August 3, 2007. The solicitation will be available through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website: www.fbo.gov. The FedBizOps website provides downloading instructions. Future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the FedBizOpps site.
