- Description
- The Nebraska National Forest, Bessey Ranger District has a project consisting of installing a total of four basement egress windows in two residential dwellings. Work includes removal of existing awning style windows, excavation and backfill for new window wells, concrete saw cutting and removal of concrete to prepare opening for new double hung egress windows, installation of new double hung windows and window wells, and priming and painting exposed wood. Contractor to furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, materials, supplies and incidentals necessary for the project. The Bessey Ranger District is located approximately 1 mile West of Halsey, NE on Highway 2. The residential dwellings will be occupied during the installation of the egress windows. All work except for painting, from start to finish on a particular dwelling shall be complete within one week. Solicitation will be posted on or about June 29, 2007. A Pre-bid meeting is planned, see Solicitation for details. Estimated price range is under $25,000. Project is set-aside 100% for Small Business Concern.
