- This requirement is for specialized work of replacing a basketball court floor and hoops, to include 1) removal of existing resilient sheet flooring from basketball court area & adjacent walkway, 2) preparation of existing concrete floor by 4100 psi, pumped 1/4" cement underlayment, 3) removal, modification and reinstallation of existing curtain wall system, 5) installation of new foam pad, plywood subfloor and wood floor system; 6) installation of ne resislient tile, marbelized colors; 8) replacement of existing resilient base, cover, rubber;9) installation of 2 new coats of polyurethane; 10) removal of existing and installation of new steel door frame, 11) installation of new high impacted glass wall system. This project requires the use of specialized skills and equipment. Contractors submitting offers shall have not less than three years of basketball flooring installation experience in having satisfactorily performed work of the types and magnitude required by this project.
