- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N6945007RCG7208 is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is One Hundred percent Set-aside for Small Business. NAICS 332420. The Naval Base Guantanamo Bay Cuba requires Eight (8) Each Two Thousand (2000 lb) pound refurbished Chlorine Cylinders. Must meet the following specifications: Carbon or Stainless Steel DOT-110A Ton Container for the transport of compressed Chlorine gas. DOT 110A800W Steel Tank, Capacity of Standard Ton equal to One Hundred and Ninety-Three (193) Gallons. Container should have Two (2) service valves (liquid and vapor) within a heavy-duty protective bonnet and pressure relief devices. Should meet American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and IMDG Code (CA 9607013) Standards. Container should be approved for Class 2 Gases, Specifically Chlorine. Tanks will ship to Blount Island Marine Terminal, Jacksonville, Florida 32226.
