- THIS CONTRACTING ACTION IS A 100% FULL AND OPEN. PROPOSALS ARE BEING SOLICITED FROM BOTH SMALL AND LARGE BUSINESSES. This project includes providing all labor, equipment, and materials to crack seal and repair the Jones Hole NFH access highway in accordance with attached specifications, drawings, and price schedule. The project includes: A. Work under this contract consists of a base bid to crack seal the first 7 miles and pavement patch and repair in designated locations throughout the entire 14 miles of 25 feet wide, bituminous concrete Jones Hole Entrance Highway (10033082). B. An additive bid item under this contract consists of crack sealing the last 7 miles in the 25 feet wide, bituminous concrete Jones Hole Entrance Highway (10033082). LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The site of the work is at Jones Hole National Fish Hatchery. The access road starts approximately 27 miles east of Vernal, Utah 84078. From intersection of Vernal Ave and U.S. Highway 40 go North to E. 500 N. St, turn east and follow signs to hatchery. B. Contractors are encouraged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions and equipment. GENERAL INFORMATION The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The total performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is a 100% Full and Open. The NAICS code is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, and the size standard is $31 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about July 2, 2007 with an anticipated closing date of August 1, 2007.
