Description
SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE; NAICS CODE 541820 ($6.5m) The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, has a requirement for public affairs and community outreach services to support the work of the New Orleans District Public Affairs Office (M VN PAO). Potential tasks and services will include , but are not limited to: Community and Public Involvement including public meeting support, community educational forums, and community relations; News media support; Strategic planning; Ceremonies and s pecial events; Support web site development and maintenance; Draft speeches and PowerPoint briefing on a variety of MVN missions for senior leaders and project managers; Support information requests and visits of elected and agency officials; Conduct site visits; and General public affairs and outreach activities. The successful offeror will be required to provide six (6) personnel at the beginning of the contract and have the ability to increase that number to 12 or more if workload dictates. The Corps int ends to award a 5 year Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), performance based service contract. This will be a best value procurement action. The technical evaluation factors are: 1. PAST PERFORMANCE AND PAST EXPERIENCE, 2. CAPA CITY AND CAPABILITY, AND 3. COST. The evaluation factors are listed in descending order of importance. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined are significantly more important than cost or price. The award will be based on an asse ssment of the evaluation results as a whole. Solicitation W912P8-07-R-0106 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be available on or about June 21, 2007. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541820 , business size standard is $6.5M.. This solicitation is issued as a small business set aside. Proposal due date in July 12, 2007 at 4:00 CST. The solicitation documents for this procurement will be posted on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI).
