Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial equipment prepared in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items as supplemented with additional information, included in this notice. This combined synopsis/solicitation issued by The U.S. Army and Aviation and Missile Command, on behalf of the Product Manager for USA TMDE Activity (USATA). This requirement is for the purchase of ten Furman AR-20-II Voltage Regulators, Power Conditioner, 20 amperage. This acquisition is a 100% sma ll business set-aside. Request delivery within 15 days after contract award. Deliveries are F.O.B. destination, Inspection/Acceptance at destination. Ten (10) each to Electrical Standards Laboratory, AMSAM-TMD-SE, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. This anno uncement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price purchase order resulting from this solicitation. The following provision apply: FAR 52.215-1 Instructions to Offerors-Competitive Acquisition; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, FAR 52.212-2; Evaluation-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3; Offerors Representations and Certifications, FAR 52.215-4; Contract Terms and Condit ions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, FAR 52.214-4, False Statements in Bids, DFAR 252.211-7003 Item Identification and Valuation. Per FAR 52.215-1, the g overnment may award without discussion, therefore offerors are urged to submit their best quote initially. Award shall be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation. Quotes must be received no later than 12:00 pm CDT, local time on 2 July 2007.
