- The 482d MSG Operational Contracting Office at Homestead Air Reserve Base, Miami-Dade County, FL is issuing a solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 12 to inspect and maintain Roll-Up, Sectional and Overhead Doors. Contractor is to provide all labor, tools, parts, transportation, material, equipment and supervision necessary to perform operational inspection, tests and maintenance as necessary of Roll-Up, Sectional and Overhead Doors at various locations on Homestead ARB in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions and commercial practices as described in the Statement of Work (SOW). Contract period is 01 October 2007 through 30 September 2008 with four additional one-year option periods, renewable each year. The standard industrial classification code is 332321 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A Firm Fixed-Price contract will be awarded contingent upon release of reserved funds. The projected date for availability of the solicitation package is on or about 10 July 2007. Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) 252.204-7004, required Central Contractor Registration will be incorporated in this acquisition. Offeror must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the time of quote/bid submittal. The offeror shall provide its DUNS or if applicable, DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will render an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors are recommended to initiate CCR registration and/or complete your annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-800-227-2423. Additionally, the successful offeror will be required to submit invoices using Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). Information regarding WAWF-RA is available on the internet at: https://wawf.eb.mil. This will be a Request for Quote.
