- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside.The point of contact for this RFQ is SrA Shelton Watson at (660) 687-5488. STATEMENT OF WORK DEMOLISH FACILITY 1435 PROJECT YWHG 00-0019 1. The following statement of work is for development of a proposal, cost estimate and demolition of facility 1435 located on Whiteman AFB. A. Facility 1435 is a Wood / Metal / Concrete framed one story office building with brick and lapped siding, concrete foundation and concrete piers, slabs, and concrete sidewalks. The square footage is approximately 13,965. Steam piping located in the crawl space and walls may be covered by asbestos insulation, if so degradation of the insulation within the crawl space may have left the soil contaminated with asbestos. This soil and any existing water shall be removed and treated prior to release. Remove the structure; to include all foundation footings, sidewalks and other debris and then dispose in an approved landfill. Water and sewage connections shall be capped at the mains and the facility's steam line capped within the utility pit. The demolished site shall be restored to drain grade, seeded and mulched to an established lawn which can be mowed, matching that in the existing area or better. 2. All construction shall be accomplished in accordance with Whiteman AFB safety regulations, Federal or State asbestos regulations, OSHA regulations and local codes. END OF STATEMENT OF WORK A site visit for this requirement will be held on 28 June 2007 at 1000 hrs CST. The location of the site visit will be: 509 Contracting Squadron Bldg 139 727 Second St. Suite 124A Whiteman AFB, MO 65305 All individuals intending to attend this site visit must submit his/her full name(last, first, mi), full SSN, driver?s license number, and issued state of driver?s license. All information must be received by SrA Watson by 1000 hrs CST on the 21st of June 2007. Information can be faxed or emailed. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and AFAC 2007-0314. Destination; 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; DFARS Clause 5352.242-9000, Contractor Access to Air Force Installations; DFARS Clause 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman Clause; DFARS Clause 5352.223-9000, Elimination of ODS; FAR Clause 252.204-7004, Central Contractor Registration (CCR); DFARS Clause 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Request. Registration is required in the CCR database in order to receive a Government contract. DFARS Provision 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications. Wage Determination No.: 2005-2307 Revision #03 applies to this services contract, to view - http://www.wdol.gov/sca.aspx . DFARS Clause 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238910. The Small Business Size Standard is $13.0 MIL. NOTE: Quotations must be received by 11 July 2007, 12:00 PM CST; late quotations will not be considered for award. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. The primary consideration in evaluation of quotes received is the overall cost.
