- Description
- The VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pa. seeks to provide local liver biopsies as a prerequisite to Hepatitis C drug therapy. Process should include specimen collection with ultrasound guided needle biopsy, pathology laboratory processing with trichrome and iron staining, pathology review, patient bleeding time, and operating room service. The surgical pathology report describing extent of liver pathology needs to be completed and returned to the Coatesville VAMC within 10 to 14 days.
