- Description
- The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSCDVAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio, 44106 anticipates soliciting sources and consequently award a contract for the construction project known as "Prosthetics FMA Lab Renovations". The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14 (SEALED BIDDING), 19.14 (SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS PROCUREMENT PROGRAM), and 36 (CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS) and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and travel, to perform work under this project. The work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical work, utility systems, asbestos abatement, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. The location of the work will be at the aforementioned address. The period of performance shall be 270 days. Magnitude of construction is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code: 236220 ($31,000,000) The solicitation documents will be issued on or about Tuesday, July 3, 2007. At such time, information will be provided regarding the obtaining of plans and specifications. A Site Visit is planned for Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM EST. Interested parties will meet in the Engineering Department-Room E33 (Located in the basement area of the hospital.) Only one site visit is planned. Reservations are not required. Bids will be due on or about Monday, August 6, 2007. This notice is not a request for submission of offers. No action is requested at this time.
