- UNICOR intends to enter into a 5 year firm fixed price requirements type contract for Garbage removal services for FCC Coleman, 846 NE, 54th Terrace, Coleman, FL 33521 and SKUP/Whse & FedFast Distribution Center FCI Schuylkill, I-81 & Route 901 West Exit 116, Minersville, PA, 17954-000. Solicitation number is FN1273-07 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). This solicitation will be for Garbage removal services for the two (2) UNICOR locations listed above. Each location will have different requirements. These requirements will be stated in detail in the solicitation which will be posted on or about June 18, 2007. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on a multiple award basis per location. One contract will be awarded for Coleman, FL and another for Schuylkill, PA. The Government anticipates making separate awards for each of the two (2) different UNICOR locations. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR Federal Prison Ind., Route 59 & Big Shanty Road, Lewis Run, PA 16738, Attn: Linda K. Kerr, Contract Specialist, Phone: (814) 362-4155 if sending UPS or Fedex. If sending offers via United States Postal Service please send to UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, PO Box 6000, Bradford, PA 16701, Attn. Linda K. Kerr, Contract Specialist. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three (3) references. References must be for same or similar services. All Offerors must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR?s webpage at www.unicor.gov. For the ACH form click on business commercial opportunities, navigate to, procurement forms and click on ACH form and print. For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form. Fax proposals are accepted at (814) 362-4151, Attn: Linda K. Kerr, Contract Specialist, the fax cover sheet shall reference the solicitation number and offer closing date and time. All offerors must acknowledge in writing all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. Original offers MUST be received within 2 days after closing date and time. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: Adherence to delivery schedule, Past Performance, price. Specific questions regarding this solicitation shall be referred to the Contracting Officer ONLY in writing at lluke@central.unicor.gov or by faxing to (814) 362-4151. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the timeframe for acceptance specified in the offer; this shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The solicitation will be available on Fedbizops at www.fbo.gov on or about June 18, 2007. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal which will be considered.
