- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Southern Region Office in Atlanta, Georgia intends to award a sole source contract under statutory authority, 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(2)(ii). This is a follow-on contract to Natureserve, 1101 Wilson Blvd, 15th Floor, Arlington, VA 22209. The USDA Forest Service, Region 8 has a requirement for a follow-on contract to provide hours of Access programming to maintain and adjust an existing Access database. Programming work may fall into three general areas: 1. Adjusting database structure and relationships to improve functionality, including ability to link to other databases and planning tools. 2. Modifying forms for data entry and user interface. 3. Modifying or adding push-button reports. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. However, if any interested party believes it can meet the above requirements, they may submit a statement of capabilities. Information furnished shall be in writing and shall contain sufficient detail, to allow technical support to determine if the party can meet the requirement. Capability statements must be received in the Contracting office located at 1720 Peachtree Road, Suite 876S, Atlanta, GA 30309 by 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on June 29, 2007.
