- Project consists of development of an existing rock pit; drilling, blasting and crushing 12,500 to 13,500 cubic yards of limestock; brushing of 5 miles of roadway; reconditioning of 6.5 miles of roadway, chipsealing of 5 to 6.5 miles of roadway as well as other items. Project is located on the Shasta-McCloud Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Shasta County, California. Price range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Contract time is 90 calendar days with an estimated start date of September 15, 2007. It is anticipated that chipsealing will not take place until spring of 2008. Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal requiring a price as well as a technical proposal responding to the criteria as outlined in the solicitation. Bid bond will be required. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about June 29, 2007.
