Description
The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspections Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), West Lafayette, IN, Intends to procure one used truck. Dealer must be located within 40 mile radius of USDA APHIS WS Office located at 901 W. State Street West Lafayette, IN. Truck must be 2005 or newer, 4-Door Quad cab, 4x4, with less than 40,000 miles, Automatic Transmission, V8/5.9L or larger Cummins turbo diesel engine, minimum 25 gal. Fuel tank, engine block heater, hitch, tow package, tow hooks, wiring harness, and fog lights. 6 Foot bed, Tow package. This will be a FIRM-FIXED price award. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to USDA Wildlife Services 901 W. State Street West Lafayette, IN, 47907-2089. NAICS Code: 441229. Simplified procurement procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR 12. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference: Prompt Payment 52.249-1; Changes--Fixed price 52.243-1; Instruction to Offerers - Commercial Items 52.212-1; Evaluation-Commercial items 52.212-2; Offerer Representations and Certifications 52.212-3; Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items 52.212-4; Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items 52.212-5; ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION FOR CONSIDERATION. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical and past performance, when combined are significantly more important than cost or price; trade-off process. Quotations are due by Thursday June 21, 2007, 10:00 AM local time.
