- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to purchase repair services on a sole source basis from Flir Systems, Inc., 27700A SW Parkway Avenue, Wilsonville, OR 97070-8238. The items requiring repair are as listed here: Part Number 15040528, Cover ? Rear w/o Fins (Star Safire)(Pntd), 1 each; Part Number 15040265, Handle ? Gimbal, Safire/Star Safire, 4 each; Part Number 50003005, Window ? Dome, 3 FOV (Star Safire), 1 each; Part Number R3210476,Rwkd ? IDA, F/5 InSb 320X25uM ISC04195, 1 each; Part Number 3201160, Wire Harness ? Amber Dewar Interface, 1 each; Part Number 3210092, Fan Assembly ? Dewar Heatsink Star Safire II, 1 each; Part Number 15009327, O Ring, 13.192 ID x .103 W, Nitrile, 2 each; Associated Labor, approximately 8 hours. The items require replacement of broken parts and alignment and calibration after the parts have been replaced. Flir Systems is the original manufacturer of the Star Safire II and III Systems and is the only vendor that has demonstrated to the Government a system that meets existing processing requirements. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures on an all or none basis. Pricing should be FOB Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Suite 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE. Submit offers no later than 2:00 p.m. on the closing date of 20 June 2007 to DLGR_NSWC_XDS13@navy.mil. E-mail should reference quote number N00178-07-Q-3265. It is the offeror?s responsibility to ensure that the quote is received in a timely manner and that it is legible and complete. Anticipated award date is on or before 22 June 2007. The Government will award a purchase order from this combined synopsis/solicitation to Flir Systems, Inc., 27700A SW Parkway Avenue, Wilsonville, OR 97070-8213.
