- The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to TMG Services, Inc. of Tacoma, WA, for Siemens/Wallace & Tiernan Barrier Ultraviolet M275 Disinfection Systems, with the Automatic Wiping System Option, M275 Mounting Bracket, Site Start-up, and Shipping. Noncompetitive award is being made because inline units that meet the stringent characteristics to sterilize the process water for aquatic use and also can be mounted in a vertical or horizontal configuration (which is necessary due to limited space considerations) are required. TMG Services, Inc. is the only known source that can supply the required items. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contract Specialist by e-mail (rpaprocki@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in the announcement.
