- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Central Region, Geographic Information Office has a requirment to acquire imagery for Dallas/Fort Worth urban area in response to a Department of Defense (DOD) request for high-resolution over 134 urban areas in support of Homeland Security. The imagery will be True 6-inch Ground Sample Distance; True Natural color; Horizontal accuracy of +/- 4 feet, and will meet or exceed 1:2400-scale National Map Accuracy standard for 6 inch resolution; NAD 83 Daturn: State Plane, Texas North Central units in U.S. feet; Tiff with associated world file format; USGS High resolution DOQ requirment. The total cost to the government is 2.8% of the total cost of data for which the government will receive a license free deliverable to be used in the public domain. The USGS considers this specified requirment as a sole source to North Central Texas Council of Governments, 616 Six Flags Dr. Suite 200, Arlington, TX 76005. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services at the same cost may submit a coapabilities statement to the contracting officer USGS, PO Box 25046 Denver Federal Center, Denver, CO 80225-0046 no later than the closing date of this requirement 6/25/2007 5:00PM MST. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist, if no submissions are received by the above appointed time, the Government will proceed with noncompetitive award withou further notice. This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ), the Government does not anticipate issuing a written solicitation. This notice and any resulting contract or order conforms to the requiemetns in place through FAC 2005-04, effective 08 June 2005. No number notes apply.
