Description

Furnish all labor, materials and equipment for the repairs and rehabilitation of the National Park Service Vessel "Seahorse". This is a 20' x 60' flat bottom barge. Repairs include but are not limited to the purchase and installation of two (2) new replacement inboard/outboard engines and out drives. This vessel was custom built by National Park Service personnel and is 14 years old. NPS will deliver the barge to the contractor's facility on or about December 15, 2007 and work must be completed by March 1, 2008. During the performance of all work under this contract, the Contractor shall adhere to EPA, OSHA Regulations, US Army Corps of Engineer's Safety and Health Handbook EM-3851-1 as well as all applicable state and local requirements. This solicitation will be available at the http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on or about July 9, 2007. The estimated closing date for this procurement is August 9, 2007. No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. All contractors must be in CCR. Any questions must be e mailed to linda_maiden@nps.gov.
