Description: Tree Pruning at Governors Island, Governors Island National Monument, New York, NY. Solicitation Number Q1766070007. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price contract for the following: The Contractor shall furnish all equipment and sufficient personnel for selected maintenance (ie: tree, shrub, stump pruning, removal, and cabling (if required), the supply of tree tags and tree tagging/GPS location (>100 estimated trees - See attached drawings) and all related incidental work as in accordance with the bid schedule, specifications and attached drawings as stated herein. Therefore, any items not specifically noted, but necessary for performance in accordance with accepted industry standards, shall be furnished under this contract. LOCATION: Governors Island, New York, NY. The NAICS code for this project is 561730 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Contract duration is one year with four option years. This procurement is a Request for Quotationand is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and women-owned business enterprises. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation.
