- FedBizOpps Numbered Note 1, 100% Set-Aside for Small Business applies to this procurement. This advertisement was originally synopsized under solicitation number W912EP-07-R-0016. Correct solicitation solicitation number is W912EP-07-B-0019. This procurement will be process as a Sealed Bid Procedure. The project work will consist of removing shoals along the Alafia River from Station 0+00 to Station 156+00 to a required depth of 33 feet plus 1 foot allowable overdepth and from Station 156+00 to St ation 181+13.22 to a required depth of 34 feet plus 1 foot allowable depth. Total amount of material to be dredged is approximately 280,000 cubic yards. All dredged material will be placed in the designated disposal area at D/A-C located an average of ap proximately .7 miles from the project site. Two existing weir structures are to be permanently closed off. The Contractor will be required to devise and provide a temporary return water system for use during this project that meets the environmental requ irements and prevents water from being impounded any higher than within 2 feet fo the lowest point on the existing dike. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All responsible small business concerns may submit a bid.
