- Description
- Electrical Installation at the Olmsted Locks in Pulaski County, IL. Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all plant, labor, material and equipment to complete the Olmsted Locks project. Major items of construction are as follows: 1. Furnish, install, and wire eight (8) new pressure transducers for monitoring the pool, tail water, land chamber, and river chamber water levels including stilling pipes, conduits, and all associated hardware as specified herein and as shown on the drawings . 2. Remove existing fiber optic patch panels and furnish and install new fiber optic patch panels. 3. Re-terminate and label fiber optic cables in patch panels. 4. Provide all testing. Estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical charact eristics and estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is unrestricted under the Demonstration Program. Solicitations will be available on line through the St. Louis District website at http://www1.fbo.gov/spg/USA/USAED/pos tdatePrevDays_1.html on or about 26 June 2007, with bid opening on or about 26 July 2007. The resulting award will be a firm fixed priced construction contract award, based on the Best Value to the Government. Price considerations will be made in the eva luation trade-off process. Because this requirement will be based on Best Value, the solicitation number is changed from IFB Solicitation No.W912P9-07-B-0207 to RFP Soliciation No. W912P9-07-R-0725.
