Description

The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Gordon, GA anticipates a competitive acquisition for maintenance and repair services of elevators and dumbwaiters for base period of 01 October 2007 to 30 September 2008, with four one-year option periods. The contractor shall be required to provide all labor, parts, transportation, equipment, supplies and incidentals necessary for routine maintenance, repair, inspection and tests of the passenger/freight elevator and dumbwaiter equipment located within Fort Gor don, Georgia. Elevators are located in several buildings throughout Fort Gordon including Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center. All services are to be provided in accordance with American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) 17 and manufacturers r ecommendations for the type of equipment. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333921 and the size standard is 500 employees. Option periods will be evaluated with base period. This procurement is un-restricted. Telegraphic bids will not be accepted. Commercial item provisions and clauses in accordance with FAR Part 12 are applicable to this requirement.
